Kha Vo joined the Statistics Division of the George Institute in 2015 as a statistical programmer.
Kha has a Bachelor of Science with a major in Statistics and is currently completing a Master of Biostatistics with the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia (BCA). Prior to joining the George Institute, Kha worked as a biostatistician at the University of Newcastle and gained experience working with linked administrative data, longitudinal data and observational studies. Kha contributed to analysing data and assisted with the publication of findings.
Kha is currently working on the EXTEND 45 project with the Renal and Metabolic division to identify risk factors, disease status and medications use among patients with diabetes and/or chronic kidney disease using data from the 45 and Up Study linked to administrative data. Kha also assists with clinical trials from the Cardiovascular division.
