Dr Sanne Peters

Sanne Peters is a Research Fellow in Epidemiology at The George Institute for Global Health and a Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College of London. She is also Speciality Chief Editor for 'Sex and Gender Differences in Disease' in the Frontiers in Global Women's Health journal.
She obtained her a PhD in Epidemiology from Utrecht University and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Utrecht University and at the University of Cambridge. Her research is primarily focused on the determination and quantification of major and modifiable risk factors for chronic diseases and how these associations may differ between women and men.
